After graduating from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Architecture, she completed her master's in Lighting Design and Technologies at Politecnico di Milano. She worked as a lighting designer and project manager for various companies in Italy and Turkey.

She undertook the project design and team management of various scales of interior, facade and landscape lighting projects.
​
She gave training and seminars in universities and architectural offices on the physical, biological and psychological effects of lighting, circadian rhythm, and human-centring lighting.
​
In 2023, she founded WELL Lighting Design Office to develop healthy, comfortable and sustainable lighting design projects.
